Barbara Streeter-Montgomery, Basketball 1978-1980
A strong and steady basketball player for LLCC women, Streetor-Montgomery earned CIAC All-Conference honors in 1979-1980. She was the leading scorer and/or rebounder in most games during her career. Streetor-Montgomery attended Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville majoring in secondary and physical education aspiring to have a coaching career, which she has fulfilled. As head coach of girls track at Springfield Southeast High School, her teams won state championships in 2012 and 2013. She was named Coach of the Year (2012 and 2013) by the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Southern Region
