Hall of Fame
A two sport competitor, Pat Moomey played both baseball and basketball for Lincoln Land Community College. Pat was the starting catcher for the Baseball Loggers with a .284 batting average and a fielding percentage that ranks among the highest for catchers. In basketball, he was the starting point guard for two years scoring 189 points in each year. After completion of his undergraduate degree in education from Illinois State University, he joined the staff at Chatham-Glenwood School District as varsity baseball coach. His 175-75 win/loss record over the past eight years and his two AA regional titles have been a mark of distinction for his coaching career.
