Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

He compiled a record of 35-5 over two seasons at the number one position in tennis capped by a 19-0 regular season in his sophomore year. He was named Most Valuable Player and Male Athlete of the Year in 1980. He attended and competed two years at Sangamon State.  He was the team captain for two years and named Most Valuable Player his senior year.  He reached the top 32 in singles and the top 16 in doubles at the National NAIA Tournament in 1982. Greg played in satellite tournaments and served as the head professional at the Springfield Racquet Club.
