Lincoln Land Community College Women's Soccer earned a
1–0 road win at
Kaskaskia College on Wednesday afternoon, securing another important
Region 24 victory and locking in the
#2 seed for the Region 24 playoffs.
It was a well-played match from both sides, featuring solid defensive organization, good possession play, and quality chances throughout. After a scoreless first half,
Jordyn Loveless provided the difference in the 61st minute, scoring on an unassisted effort to give the Loggers the lead.
LLCC outshot Kaskaskia
24–7, including
12 shots on goal, while holding the Blue Angels to just
4 shots on target. The Logger defense stayed composed, limiting clear chances in the final third.
Goalkeeper Abi Stephens made
4 saves to secure the team's
10th shutout of the season.
