Lincoln Land fell 3–1 to No. 11 Rock Valley College Saturday afternoon. The game was moved to Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park.

The match remained scoreless through the first half and for more than 20 minutes after the break. Rock Valley opened the scoring in the 68th minute and added another goal in the 73rd. The Golden Eagles converted a penalty kick in the 82nd minute to extend their lead to 3–0.

Myra Gibson scored for Lincoln Land in the 89th minute to complete the scoring.

The Loggers finished with 11 shots, including three on goal. Zoey Kyes made five saves.

Lincoln Land returns home Thursday, Sept. 24, to face No. 5 Heartland Community College at 3 p.m.
