SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Lincoln Land Community College and Triton College played to a 1-1 draw Wednesday in the first official soccer match held inside the Scheels Sports Park dome.

The Loggers took an early lead when Ellie Johnson scored in the second minute off an assist from Emily Short. Lincoln Land held the lead until Triton scored the equalizer in the 80th minute.
Lincoln Land finished with 30 shots, including 11 on goal, but could not find the deciding goal.

Zoey Kyes recorded two saves in the first half, while Lydia Auble made four saves after halftime.

The Loggers (1-2-1) return to action Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Jefferson College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Hillsboro, Missouri.
