No. 18 St. Charles Community College defeated Lincoln Land 6–0 Wednesday afternoon at the St. Charles Soccer Complex.

On a hot day on the turf, St. Charles scored in the 12th, 27th and 30th minutes to take a 3–0 lead into halftime. The Cougars added goals in the 51st, 68th and 83rd minutes to complete the scoring.

Lincoln Land finished with four shots, including one on goal. Zoey Kyes made 10 saves for the Loggers.

The Loggers return for a home opener on Wednesday, Sept. 2, to face Triton College at 4 p.m.
