The Sangamon County Tournament will be played January 12-16 at LLCC. There are three games each night, with the first game starting at 5 pm. This is a special year, as this is the 100th year of the tournament! The teams playing in this year's tournament is Athens, Auburn, Calvary, Lutheran, New Berlin, Pawnee, Pleasant Plains, Riverton, Tri-City and Williamsville.
With this year being the 100th year of this county tournament, we will hold a Decades of Legend Night on Wednesday, January 14. All coaches and players who played in past tournaments will be recognized on this night. On Thursday, January 15, the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association will be recognizing the Sangamon County School Masters as their Organization of the Year. Any IBCA Hall of Famer in attendance will be recognized. On Friday, January 16, our Friend of the County, will be recognized. This year's Friend of the County, is Doug Furlow.
Admission is $5 at the door, with a $2 price for senior citizens.
