SPRINGFIELD – Lincoln Land Community College has named Todd Creal of Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., as its new athletics director.
Creal comes to LLCC with experience in college administration and coaching. At Westminster he has served as the head men's basketball coach, sports information director, interim associate vice president of intercollegiate athletics and the associate director of athletics and senior compliance officer. He oversaw the re-implementation of the Westminster College Athletics Hall of Fame, an event which raised $50,000 for the college's athletics and took care of game day management of all 18 varsity sports, managing the coaches and student workers to ensure a positive experience.
Prior to Westminster College, Creal was the head men's basketball coach at MacMurray College in Jacksonville for 13 seasons, compiling 146 wins and held the highest winning percentage of any basketball coach in MacMurray history. He was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2015. He also served as an instructor of sports management, the head men's golf coach and assistant athletic director for game day management.
Additionally, Creal coached at Millikin University in Decatur and Illinois College in Jacksonville.

Creal is originally from Brighton. He earned a master's degree in sport management from Western Illinois University and a bachelor's degree from Illinois College where he played basketball from 1994-1997, serving as team captain his senior year.
