Six Names, One Standard
The 2026 Lincoln Land Loggers didn't just put together a strong season—they built a lineup and a pitching staff that demanded attention every single game.
It started withÂ
Faith Nestler, the anchor in the circle. With aÂ
2.397 ERA over 61.1 innings and hitters managing just aÂ
.240 average, she controlled the pace of the game. When Lincoln Land needed a stop, Nestler delivered—seven wins and countless clutch outs proving she could handle any moment.
Behind her was an offense that never gave pitchers a break—led byÂ
Shelby Finchum.
Finchum wasn't just productive—she was relentless. AÂ
.452 average,Â
33 hits, andÂ
14 doubles, all while striking outÂ
zero times. Every at-bat was a battle she refused to lose, turning consistency into dominance and setting the tone for everyone around her.
And if pitchers thought they could work around Finchum, they ran straight intoÂ
Ele Feldmann.
Feldmann brought power that changed games instantly, posting a staggeringÂ
.861 slugging percentage withÂ
five home runs and 31 RBIs—and like Finchum,Â
never striking out once. Together, they formed one of the toughest middle-of-the-lineup combinations in the conference.
The depth didn't stop there.
Abby McDonald kept innings alive with aÂ
.421 average and aÂ
.522 OBP, finding ways on base any way possible—hits, walks, even taking pitches to get on.
Mollie Cascio added patience and presence, hittingÂ
.390Â while drawingÂ
16 walks, forcing pitchers into tough counts and capitalizing when it mattered.
AndÂ
Brooke Goetter did everything else—power, speed, and sacrifice. WithÂ
21 hits,Â
20 runs, and a mix of extra-base hits and small-ball execution, she proved her value went far beyond the stat sheet.
Congratulations to all six student-athletes from Lincoln Land Softball.
