Lincoln Land Community College Women's Soccer closed out the regular season with a 5–2 loss to Black Hawk College–Moline on Saturday in Springfield.
The Loggers jumped out early when a Black Hawk own goal gave LLCC a 1–0 lead just one minute into the match. However, Black Hawk quickly responded and carried a 3–1 advantage into halftime.

In the second half, Sophia Smith found the back of the net off an assist from Kinley Richardson, cutting the deficit to 4–2 before Black Hawk sealed the result with a late goal.
LLCC totaled 16 shots, including 7 on goal, and earned 3 corner kicks. Goalkeeper Abi Stephens recorded 18 saves in a strong effort between the posts.

Final Score: Black Hawk 5, LLCC 2
Record: 13–4–1 overall

The Loggers now turn their attention to the Region 24 Tournament, where they will host Kaskaskia College in the semifinal round on Friday, October 31, at 2:00 PM in Springfield.
