"Loggers lose in Conference matchup against the Blazers by a score of 2-0 "

In a tightly contested game Lincoln Land matched up evenly with John Wood. Unfortunately for the Loggers they could not capitalize with their 9 shots on goal. The Blazers were able to put their first goal on the scoreboard in the 19th minute of the game on a ball shot from outside the goal box, that just snuck under the crossbar. Lincoln Lands best chance came in the second half of play when Blair Keebler was able to get free and put one past the keeper but the ball was cleared from the goal line by a defending Blazer. The Loggers were pressing the Blazers most of the second half.  However at the 81st minute, the Blazers were able to capitalize on a counterattack after a shot fell through the hands of Danielle Lacy that the Blazers were able to finish on a second chance shot. 

The Loggers take on Morton Community College Wednesday, September 28th at home.
