The Lincoln Land women's basketball team played host to the St. Clair College Skipper from Port Huron, MI in a battle of nationally ranked teams and won a decisive victory 75-55. The game started at a high pace with teams trading baskets early. St. Clair, currently ranked #15 in the latest NJCAA poll, played a pressure zone defense that flustered the Loggers early. St. Clair managed to hold a 24-21 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Lincoln Land got hot in the second period and was able to score several transition baskets all while holding St. Clair to just seven points in the period. Lincoln Land lead 38-31 at the half time break. Both the third and fourth periods played out similarly as the Loggers slowly pulled away from the Skippers by out scoring them six in the third period and seven in the fourth. Lincoln Land cruised to a 75-55 victory. The Loggers were lead in scoring by Zoey Beehn with 21 points. Alexis Wade poured in 15, and Lauren Chastain contributed 12. The Loggers were led in rebounding by Zoey Beehn with 9, point guard Kylie Robinson pulled down seven, and Lauren Chastain grabbed five. Lillie Woodworth led the Loggers with five assists. Hailee Daigh took a charge for the Logger defense.

th.
