The #14 Lincoln Land Women's basketball team takes the road win over Southeastern Iowa 70-59. The Loggers faced 40 minutes of the Blackhawk's press but were able to avoid a defeat.
Lincoln Land took a modest 31-24 lead into halftime. However, SCC went on a 7-0 run midway through the 4th quarter to take a 54-53 lead with 4:32 remaining in the game. Coming out of a timeout, the Loggers answered the SCC defense with three consecutive transition baskets and went 7-9 from the free throw line to regain the lead. Lauren Chastain sealed the contest with a corner 3 to secure the 70-58 victory.

Zoey Beehn had a double/double of 23 points and 17 rebounds. Kylie Robinson and Alexis Wade finished with 17 points with Robinson dishing out 7 assists. Rounding out Lincoln Land's scoring were Isabella Tiburzi 4, Lillie Woodworth 3, Lauren Chastain 3, Hunter Mowrey 3.

Lincoln Land improves to 2-0 and will host Rock Valley at 1:00 on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Cass Gym.
