The #7 ranked Lincoln Land women's team defeated Lincoln Trail College 103-73 on the second day of the Logger Classic.  The first quarter was an evenly matched contest as the Loggers held a slim six point lead at the end of the period.  In the second period, Freshman Taylor Blehm scored six field goals on six attempts in the period.  The Loggers would lead 51-38 at the half.  The second half saw the Loggers pound the ball inside to forwards Megan Harrell and Taylor Blehm.  Blehm finished the game with a career high 28 points on 12 of 14 shooting.  Lincoln Land outscored Lincoln Trail 30-11 in the period.  Lincoln Trail hit six three point baskets in the final frame to win the fourth quarter by two points, but it was too little too late.  Lincoln Land won by a final score of 103-73.

Taylor Blehm came off the bench to lead the Loggers with 28 points. "It was great to see Taylor get hot.  She was a beast inside tonight" said coach Chad Jones.  Sam Lindhorst had another solid offensive outing with 20 points.  Megan Harrell contributed 18.  Lindhorst led the Loggers with 11 rebounds, while Blehm pulled down nine.  Lindhorst's stat line also included a team high seven assists and four steals.  Lincoln Land improves to 7-0 on the season. The Loggers next play November 26 at Rend Lake College.
