Loggers Extend Win Streak

Freshman Lillie Woodworth drained four 3 point baskets to propel # 7 Lincoln Land to a 90-28 victory over St. Louis CC. Lillie finished with a game high 16 as the Loggers won their 5th game in as many tries.

Lincoln Land scored 27 first quarter points against the Archers zone defense. Sophomores Alexis Wade and Megan Harrell led the attack with 9 and 7 points respectively. The Loggers were able to hold St. Louis to 7 first half points for a 45-7 lead at the half.

Taylor Blehm got the Loggers rolling again during the third period. The Freshman post scored 6 points to continue the offensive attack for the Loggers. Alexis Wade added 5 points in the period.
Lincoln Land continued to increase their lead throughout the final quarter. The Loggers scored a game high 29 points in the fourth period. Lillie Woodworth buried three 3's while Hunter Mowrey owned the paint for 7 points. The 90-28 victory improved the 7th ranked Logger's record to 5-0.

Lillie Woodworth lead Lincoln Land with 16 points. Alexis Wade poured in 14 points. Hunter Mowrey and Megan Harrell both added 13 points. Rounding out Lincoln Land's scoring were : Taylor Blehm 10, Lauren Chastain 8, Whitney Rumbold 4, Madysyn Butler 4, Addi Fraase 3, Sam Lindhorst 2, Ella Guerrero 2, Durbin Thomas 2.
Durbin Thomas dished out a game high 7 assists while Lauren Chastain pulled down 10 rebounds.

The Loggers are back in action Friday, Nov. 15 as the host College of Lake County at 5:30 in Cass Gym.
