On October 10, 2024, the Loggers hosted Heartland Community College, aiming to improve their 10-1 record. The match started at 4 PM, with both teams showing solid effort from the beginning.

The Loggers took an early lead in the 30th minute when a Heartland defender accidentally headed a cross into their own net. However, Heartland equalized in the 39th minute and added another goal just before halftime, giving them a 2-1 lead at the break.

In the second half, Heartland extended their advantage with goals in the 53rd and 56th minutes. Despite the result, Abi Stephens made a strong showing in goal, recording six saves in the first half and nine in the second.

The Loggers ended the game with a 4-1 loss and will look ahead to their next match against Elgin Community College on Oct. 12. Loggers are now 10-2 on the year.
