LLCC vs Spoon River Game 1:
Lincoln Land watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-0 loss to Spoon River on Tuesday. The Snappers scored on a single by Malia Bender, a single by Raivyn Millions, and a walk by Kylie Simmons in the first inning. Lincoln Land struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Spoon River, giving up eight runs. The Snappers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Bender singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
One bright spot for the Loggers was a single by Alivia Hemberger in the first inning. Allyson Harrold pitched the Snappers to victory. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out nine and walking one. Karley Moore led things off in the pitcher's circle for Lincoln Land. Moore went two innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out two. Maranda File threw two innings out of the bullpen. Charlotte Hayes and Hemberger all had one hit to lead the Loggers. Spoon River collected ten hits on the day. Bender, Brynna Seitz, and Emily Meloche each racked up multiple hits for the Snappers.

Lincoln Land fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 18-4 loss to Spoon River on Tuesday in second game of double header. The Snappers scored on an error, a double by Raivyn Millions, an error, and a groundout by Tatum Van-Ryswyk in the first inning. The Loggers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Spoon River, giving up 18 runs. Spoon River got on the board in the first inning. An error scored one run for the Snappers.
Lincoln Land notched three runs in the fourth inning. Haley Willan and Addison Cline powered the big inning with RBIs. Vandeveorde earned the win for Spoon River. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out four and walking zero. Bailey Teasley started the game for the Loggers. The righty allowed seven hits and ten runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Karley Moore, Maranda File, and Macy Pierce each contributed in relief for the Loggers.
Lincoln Land hit two home runs on the day. Willan went yard in the fourth inning. Gatlyn Etter had a long ball in the fifth inning. Etter, Nyla Cooper, Cline, Alivia Hemberger, and Willan each collected one hit to lead Lincoln Land. The Snappers racked up 15 hits on the day. Kylie Simmons, Malia Bender, Giulia Cianfriglia, Van-Ryswyk, and Brynna Seitz each had multiple hits for the Snappers. Simmons went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Spoon River in hits.
