LLCC vs Jefferson College (Game 1):

Both teams were strong on the rubber on Tuesday, but Jefferson College was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the Lincoln Land Loggers. Karley Moore started the game for Lincoln Land Loggers and recorded 18 outs. A single by Haley Willan in the second inning was a positive for Lincoln Land Loggers.

Sami Huck was credited with the victory for Jefferson College. The bulldog allowed five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 14 and walking zero.
Moore led things off in the circle for Lincoln Land. The righty went six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking one.

Hannah Myers, Alivia Hemberger, Molly Hughes, Mady Wear, and Willan each collected one hit to lead the Loggers. Lincoln Land was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Nyla Cooper made the most plays with six.

Jefferson College racked up eight hits. Torri Hinnah, Bailey Willis, Sarah Roth, and Alexis Sanchez each managed multiple hits for Jefferson College.

LLCC vs Jefferson College (Game 2):
Jefferson College outlasted the Loggers at the plate in a victory over Lincoln Land in second match up on Tuesday. Bailey Teasley started the game for the Loggers and recorded 18 outs.
Lincoln Land lost despite out-hitting Jefferson College nine to eight.

The Loggers got things started in the second inning when Molly Hughes singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Jefferson College pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning.  In the third Alexis Sanchez singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Jamilyn Bagby singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Alexis Findley earned the win for Jefferson College. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and one run while striking out ten. Teasley took the loss for Lincoln Land. The righty lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one.

Lincoln Land tallied nine hits on the day.  Alivia Hemberger, Hughes, and Haley Willan each collected multiple hits for the Loggers.  Willan, Hughes, and Hemberger all had two hits to lead Lincoln Land.

Jefferson College collected eight hits on the day.  Sarah Roth, Sanchez, and Bailey Willis all managed multiple hits.  Jefferson College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Bagby had the most chances in the field with ten.
