"The Loggers win their first game of the season 1-0 vs John Wood"
 
The Loggers hosted a conference matchup today against John Wood. 
While both teams were looking for their first win of the season, it was the Loggers who were victorious. 
In an evenly matched and tightly contested game, the Loggers were able to put the lone goal of the day on the scoreboard, just thirty minutes into the first half.  Blair Keebler passed the ball into the goalbox, that was received by Madalyn Buxton, who then laid it off to Lauren Ferguson to finish off the play.  The Loggers again played good solid team defense, holding the Blazers scoreless. 
 
Danielle Lacy was credited with the shutout and 12 saves.
