"Loggers Lose 11-0 to defending National Champions"

The Lincoln Land Loggers hosted #3 Heartland Hawks in a conference matchup where the Loggers got out to a rough start, by falling behind early on an own goal that came off Heartland's first corner kick of the game. The Hawks would proceed to keep the goals coming by scoring five more goals in the first half. After only having two shots in the first half, the Loggers opened up their attack in the second half by getting 7 shots on goal. However they could not put one past the Hawk's goalkeeper who was credited with the shut out.
