#3 Lincoln Land Loggers women's basketball team traveled to Quincy and defeated the host Trailblazers 73-57. The Loggers put the game away early as their defensive pressure created a 26-11 first quarter lead.
The remaining 3 quarters were played relatively even. Lincoln Land held a one point advantage through those final three quarters to close it the game.
Freshman Kennedy Bauer and Sophomore Jolene Bueker took over the post for injured Katryel Clark. Both girls combined for 16 rebounds 16 points to power Lincoln Land to the win. 
Lincoln Land's guards were impressive as well. Havilyn Dulin, the Rochester native, poured in a team high 19 points to go along with 7 steals. Freshmen Sadie Bueker and Maclayne Taylor were equally effective scoring as they went for 15 and 14 respectively. 
Sophomore guard Hannah Wallen finished the game with 7 assists, 4 points and 4 steals. 
Lincoln Land was able to force 32 turnovers and out rebounded John Wood 40-32.
Lincoln Land returns to action Saturday Feb. 15 at home against Lewis & Clark. Game time is 1:00pm.
