# 6 Lincoln Land WBB traveled to Lewis & Clark
Saturday afternoon and came away with their 24th win of the season. The Loggers beat the Trailblazers 79-75 behind a monster game by Katryel Clark who finished with a double- double of 18 points and 19 rebounds.
The first quarter saw Jolene Bueker and Madison Jernigan knock down a three pointer each but Lewis & Clark still led 21-20. Lincoln Land re-grouped during the second frame led by Havilyn Dulin's 6 points to take a 42-40 halftime lead. The third quarter was the turning point for Lincoln Land as they out scored L & C 22-12. Dulin once again led the Loggers by scoring 6 points in addition to a three point basket by Jernigan and Hannah Wallen. Lewis & Clark wouldn't go away in the fourth quarter and cut the Logger lead to three points with 3 minutes to play. Katryel Clark knocked down six points and Jernigan hit another 3 point shot in the final period to hang for the 79-75 victory.
"It's always a tough challenge to play Lewis & Clark on their home court," stated Coach Jones afterwards. "The girls stepped up and finished the job today. This was a great team win. We were really balanced scoring wise and it was great to see us knock down seven 3's to compliment Katryel and Jolene in the paint.
All five Logger starters finished with double digit scoring. Katryel Clark finished with 18 points. Havilyn Dulin and Hannah Wallen each had 17. Madison Jernigan buried four 3 pointers and finished with 15 points. Jolene Bueker contributed 10 points.
Clark led Lincoln Land with a game high 19 rebounds. Jolene Bueker pulled down 4.
Hannah Wallen and Havilyn Dulin dished out 5 assists each. Katryel Clark had 3 steals.
The Loggers will have their final regular season home
Wednesday, Feb. 27. Tip off
begins at 5:30.
Lincoln Land improves to 24-2 and 7-1 in conference play.
