The Loggers took on Kishwaukee again in a 9 inning game that ended in the Loggers first loss of the season.
Rick Dour took the mound for the Loggers pitching 6 strong innings, striking out 8 and giving up only 4 hits. Talon File kicked off the scoring in the bottom of the first for Lincoln Land with a towering 2-run homer to left field. The Loggers pushed across two more in the opening inning for what would seem like a comfortable lead. With just six outs left and facing a five run deficit, Kishwaukee scored 8 runs in the 8th and 9th to take home the 10-7 victory.
Lincoln Land and Kishwaukee square off again on Sunday at noon for a double header at Sacred Heart Griffin High School.
