The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers won their M-WAC Conference game against John Wood C.C. 70-63.  Madison Jones lit up the Trailblazers for 32 points in the Loggers victory.  Lincoln Land trailed 28-33 at the half before the Loggers made their run during the third quarter.  LLCC outscored John Wood 22-11 during the third quarter to go up 50-44.  Lincoln Land finished off the game in the fourth with a 20-19 scoring difference.

Lincoln Land finished the game shooting 28/60 (47%) from the field and drained 7/16 (44%) from the 3 point line.  The Loggers also went 7-10 (70%) from the free throw line.  Lincoln Land held a 24-22 rebounding edge and forced 25 John Wood turnovers.

Coach Albert was pleased with the team's performance.  "We had a tremendous second half tonight.  The first 20 minutes was uninspiring.  We regrouped at half and the girls really responded with energy and execution.  Madison Jones was incredible tonight.  She was basically unstoppable on the offensive end.  I believe she was 14/18 from the field which included 3/5 from behind the arc.  Other than Madison's scoring, the big key for us tonight was our defensive effort in the third quarter.  We did an excellent job taking away the dribble drive and defended the post really well.  Like I mentioned after our last game, we are peaking at the right time and the win today should motivate us to keep working hard."

Madison led all scores with 32 points.  Hannah Cameron and Denzelle Moore each contributed 10.  Cameron also led Lincoln Land with 5 rebounds.  Nicole Robinson finished with 7 assists while Lindsey Storm had 3 steals.  Storm and Ella Nelson both drew a charge in the Loggers victory.
