The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers lost their Region 24 game to Illinois Central College 52-83.  Lincoln Land finished the game shooting 21/60 (35%).  The Loggers struggled from the 3 pt. line finishing 3/14 (21.4%) and went 7/14 (50%) from the free throw line.  

"Today was a good test for us," stated Coach Albert after the game.  "We knew coming in that they were a solid team.  Once we got behind in the first period, it really put a lot of pressure on us to make some shots and get consecutive stops. Unfortunately, we just couldn't put together a run to cut into the early lead.  I thought we played well defensively the third quarter but we just weren't able to get things going scoring wise.  We had good looks throughout the game but we failed to finish a lot of our shots."

Shelby Thompson led Lincoln Land with 12 points.  Madison Jones finished with 9 and Hannah Krukewitt had 8.  Denzelle Moore pulled down 7 rebounds for the Loggers and Nicole Robinson finished with 5 steals and 3 assists.

Lincoln Land is now 8-7.
