The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers closed out their season Friday night falling to Lake Land 68-64. The Loggers came out and got a 8-0 lead then Lake Land fought their way back but LLCC still lead 14-9 after one. The second quarter Lake Land knocked down some shots and took a half time lead of 31-27. The second half was played virtually even with LLCC winning the third quarter 20-19 and Lake Land winning the forth quarter 18-17. Lincoln Land had a 64-60 lead late in the game but Lake Land came down and knocked down some big shots.
"This team has played really good basketball these past 3 weeks and tonight was no exception. We positioned ourselves late in the game with a chance to win, but unfortunately two back to back 3s really hurt us," Coach Gary Albert mentioned. "We played with great passion and intensity and that's all we can ask of our kids. It certainly was a difficult loss but I was extremely proud of how we finished our season this year."
Sydnee LeGrande led the Loggers with 25 points and 9 rebounds and Kylie Crouse finished with 15 points and 5 boards. Brooke Ferree had 6 rebounds and Bella Fisher had 5.
Lincoln Land shot 36% from the field and went 71% on free throws.
Lincoln Land finished 16-13 on the season.
