The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers lost their first conference game with John Wood 63-52.  Lincoln Land held a one point lead after the first quarter,  but was unable to hang on in the end.  The Loggers tied the game mid-way through the 4th quarter but failed to capitalize on opportunities cost them the game.

"We simply need to be more consistent on both ends of the floor.  Recently, we have one poor quarter each game which ends up costing us wins," said Coach Albert.  "Our intensity is there but we just go long stretches without scoring.  Today it was the second quarter.  Only scoring 8 points in that quarter really puts a lot of pressure on you defensively. Our shooting percentages have to improve for us to be successful in upcoming games.  We'll just continue to work hard each day and make the adjustments necessary to keep improving."

Lincoln Land finished the game shooting 31% (18 for 59) from the field, 30% (6 for 20) from the 3 pt. line and 46% (10 for 22) from the free throw line.

Kylie Crouse and Sydnee LeGrande led Lincoln Land with 11 points apiece.  Molly Smith added 9 and Hannah Cameron finished with 8.  Cameron also led the Loggers with 6 rebounds.
