The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers defeated Millikin University JV 93-51.  The Logger victory  marked Coach Gary Albert's 100th win at LLCC.  Lincoln Land jumped out to a 24-7 first quarter lead and never trailed.  The Loggers put up another 24 points during the second quarter and led 48-26 at halftime.  A big third quarter saw Lincoln Land outscore Millikin 26-5 which led to the final of 93-51.

Lincoln Land had a good shooting performance by going 39-77 (50.6%) from the field.  The Loggers finished 7-16 (43.8%) from the three point line and made 8-14 (57.1%) free throws.  Lincoln Land was able to force 27 turnovers while only committing 9.

"We were really balanced offensively today," said Coach Albert afterwards.  "All five starters finished in double figures and we took good care of the ball.  We had scoring from the perimeter, the paint and in transition.  It was nice to see everyone getting involved offensively in each of those areas.  I was really pleased with the way we played defensively, but in particular, the third quarter  Everyone was doing the things we put an emphasis on everyday in practice.  It's always great to see fundamentals carry over from practice to games."

Molly Smith led Lincoln Land with 25 points. Madison Jones finished with 18 followed by Hannah Cameron (16), Nicole Robinson (14) and Brooke Ferree (10).  Robinson finished with 5 assists, 6 steals and 7 rebounds.  Ferree pulled down 7 rebounds and Shelby Thompson had 5.

Lincoln Land improved to 6-4.
