The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers faced Region 24 foe Illinois Central College on Saturday afternoon.  The Loggers took a 31-28 halftime lead against #8 ranked ICC.  The second half saw the Loggers struggle offensively and ended the third quarter down 45-42.  The final quarter, ICC was able to finish out the game by outscoring LLCC 25-15 for the final score of 70-57.

" The girls played an awesome game for 3 quarters today," said Coach Albert after the game.  "I was very proud of the effort we showed against a tough team.  I think ICC's size wore us down a little in the fourth quarter which led to them finishing the game.  On the bright side, we know we can play with the best teams in the country.  However,  I was disappointed in our free throw and perimeter shooting today.  We were 9-21 from the free throw line and 2-15 from behind the arc. We certainly could have used some of those shots to fall for us."

Molly Smith led the Loggers with 14 points.  Sydnee LeGrande, Hannah Cameron and Hannah Krukewitt finished with 9,8,7 respectively.  Kylie Crouse and Bella Fisher each had 8 rebounds and Selena Bradshaw dished out 5 assists.
Lincoln Land is now 11-6.
