LLCC started Saturday with a follow-up match to it's Friday night barnburner against Johnson County.  This time it was the #9 Central Nebrask squad on the other side of the net.  LCC took the first game and built a 7-1 lead in game two before permitting Central to go on a 10-point run to win game two.  A similar event happened with game three, but with LLCC on the ropes, Kiersten Anderson scored five kills in game four to help LLCC take the game 26-24 to force a deciding fifth game. Anderson also posted had two triple-doubles...against Johnson and Central Nebraska.  At that point, there was a delay as the match had to shift courts, due to dripping water on the play court, a consequence of Friday night's storms.  After a fifteen minute 'rain delay' the fifth game began.  LLCC trailed 6-8 when the teams switched sides, but tied it at 10 on a head's up dig by Addie Patton followed by a dink over the net for the lead.  LLCC then served out the last four pointsfor the match victory.

Longview came next and proved to be a sweep for the Loggers.  Coach Dietz was pleased, "Coming off two long matches, we had a chance to work on some different lineups and get players playing time while we make adjustments.  That was a key thing for us, especially coming off two matches last night/this morning that ran for a combine 5+ hours. Now we get a few days to work towards our first home tournament thisweekend!"
