LLCC vs. Milwaukee Area Technical College

    The Loggers earned their first sweep this season against Milwaukee Area Technical College 25-22, 25-16, 25-23. Freshman right side, Avery Ginglen, led the Loggers in kills with 9 and hitting percentage with an incredible .381. Izzy Link followed closely behind with 8 kills, Savannah Kaeb and Kylee McDonald with 6 a piece, and Gracie Brockett with 5. Savannah Kaeb also had a very impressive hitting percentage, earning a .364. Brinlie Durbin led the Loggers offense in assists with 21 and Bella Winfield-Russo chipped in 11 assists. From the service line, Gracie Brockett and Izzy Lynch each had 2 aces, while Maryn Linderman, Brooklyn Lynch, and Brinlie Durbin each had 1 ace. 

    The Loggers were all over the back court playing a scrappy defense. Izzy Lynch and Maryn Linderman stepped up and each earned 10 digs for the Loggers. Brinlie Durbin picked up 6 digs, Izzy Link had 5, Gracie Brockett and Bella Winfield-Russo each contributed 4, and Kylee McDonald and Brooklyn Lynch each had 3 digs. Gracie Brockett shut MATC's offense down a few times with 1 solo block and 2 block assists, while Izzy Link had 3 block assists, Savannah Kaeb had 2, and Hadleigh Maley had 1.
 
    The Loggers play Heartland on their home court this Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m.
