Tonight the Lincoln Land Lady Loggers lost against last year's national runner up, the Parkland Cobras, with a final score of 61-73. The Loggers quickly fell behind in the first quarter due to Parkland being strong on offense and in transition, and by halftime they were down by 21. The second half the Loggers were more efficient on offense and outscored the Cobras 44-35, but it was not enough to make up for the point deficit from the first half. Assistant coach Blake Burgess said, "I'm still proud of them for not giving up and for fighting until the very end."

Kylie Crouse led the Loggers with 13 points, and individually she was 3-6 from the 3-point line. Rachel Alde was next with 11 points. Chloe Spragg added in 10 points. Overall, the team was 35% both from the field and from behind the arc, and they were 50% from the free-throw line.

Lincoln Land is now 14-7 and 2-2 in the M-WAC.
