The Loggers lost for the first time since November 12, losing on the road to Illinois Valley Community College, 70-67.

occasions, including at 27-17. The Loggers finally found a few defensive stops and a few offensive buckets and fought all the way back to a tie the game at half at 35-35. The entire second half was played within a 10 point window as IVCC led by a high of 6 points while the Loggers high mark was 4. Sophomore Alex Portwood made a three with 5 seconds left to make it a 1 point deficit, but IVCC was able to knock in two free throws and a last second half court heave went short for Lincoln Land.

"I do not think we played very well tonight, we struggled with a lot of things we worked all week on and our effort was not what it needed to be. We still had chances and just could not capitalize, so I am very disappointed with tonight's result, "reflected Head Coach Chad Jones following the loss.

Lincoln Land struggled to make shots all night as they were able to get 20 more shots than IVCC, but shot only 34% from the field and 8 for 30, 27%, from three. Lincoln Land forced 21 IVCC turnovers, but again failed to capitalize enough to come out victorious.

The Loggers only had two players in double digits, sophomore Alex Portwood and freshman D'Aaron Owens who both had 16 each.
