The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers defeated M-WAC opponent, Lewis & Clark, 67-61 on Saturday.  Lincoln Land held a 35-32 halftime lead.

Lincoln Land struggled shooting the ball but got some timely stops during the fourth quarter to finish out the contest with a victory.  LLCC finished 24/67 from the field for 35.8%.  In addition, Lincoln Land went 2/19 from behind the arc and 17/31 from the free throw line.  The Loggers outrebounded L & C  (52- 45) and committed fewer turnovers (17-20).
After the game, Coach Albert agreed that scoring was a struggle for the Loggers.  "We got the looks we wanted on most possessions but shots just weren't falling.  We shot poorly from the field, from behind the arc and from the free throw line.  Fortunately, we did a decent job defensively to compensate for the lack of scoring.  We can certainly fix that and make improvements."

Sydnee LeGrande led the Loggers with a double/double of 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Chloe Albert and Rachel Alde each added 12 points while Cheyanne Cherry chipped in with 11.  Alde, Selena Bradshaw and Chloe Spragg each had 3 assists.

Lincoln Land improved to 14-6 and 2-1 in the M-WAC.
