The Lady Loggers went down to the wire with #1 ranked Parkland but lost 54-62.  Lincoln Land trailed 22-23 at the half.
 
The Loggers had a chance to make it a 1 point game with 42 seconds left in the game but Molly Sloman's shot went off the back of the rim.  Lincoln Land had to foul to stop the clock and Parkland was able to make their free throws to close out the game.
 
"That was a great game to be a part of," said Coach Gary Albert after the game.  "We gave ourselves a chance at the end but unfortunately we fell a little short.  I thought we played a very smart game and we battled all 40 minutes.  We were able to hit some big shots throughout the game which really kept us in contention.  Defensively we made them work to get good looks and we pressured the ball well.  Hopefully we can build on the effort tonight and finish the season strong."
 
Molly Sloman led the Loggers with 15 points and Cheyanne Cherry added 11.  Rachel Alde, Kelsey Forsythe and Sydney Jarrard contributed 8,7 and 6 points respectively.
 
LLCC is 10-12 on the season.
