The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers hosted St. Louis C.C. and came away with a 79-70 victory. LLCC held a 39-23 lead at the half.
Lincoln Land outscored the Arches 22-8 in the 2nd quarter to gain the early half time margin. The 3rd quarter saw St. Louis come out strong and cut the lead to 9 points. Both squads finished the 4th quarter scoring 23 apiece for the final score of 79-70.
Coach Albert was pleased with the overall performance of the Loggers, "Once again we rebounded extremely well. Sydnee LeGrande had another big rebounding game with 15. Offensively, we knocked down some shots and hit some big buckets late to preserve the win. I'm really pleased with the way the girls are playing and the effort they are playing with."
Lincoln Land shot 42.8% from the field with 50 rebounds. St. Louis finished at 41.8% from the field and 36 boards.
LeGrande led the Loggers with a double/double of 13 points and 15 rebounds. Rachel Alde led the team in scoring with 15 while Chloe Albert, Gretchen Hobbie and Kylie Crouse all finished with 11 points.
Lincoln Land won their fourth game in a row and are now 4-3 on the season.
