The Lincoln Land women's basketball team battled hard but lost to John Wood 57-68. The game was much closer than the final tally.

LLCC trailed 34-35 at the half. "We had some offensive possessions late in the game that failed to put points on the board. Our shot selection needs to be a little better in those situations. I thought our defensive effort was much improved today. We forced 22 turnovers and were very active," said Coach Albert.

Jessica Armour finished with 13 points and Hannah Funneman contributed 10. Kelsey had 4 steals for the Loggers.

LLCC fell to 11-10 on the season.
