The Lincoln Land women's basketball team fell to Division 1 Kennedy-King on Saturday 58-80. The Loggers were only down 35-41 at the half but were unable to keep up with the Generals in the second half.
Putting together two good halves has been tough for the Loggers this season. " I was very happy with our offensive play during the first half today," said Coach Albert. " We need to keep that consistency for the entire game. We also have to do a better job on the defensive glass. We gave up 17 offensive rebounds which is something we will certainly work to improve on."
Gretchen Hobbie led the Loggers with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Hannah Hergenrother scored with Molly Sloman adding 10. Kelsey Forsythe contributed 4 steals for the 2-4 Loggers.
