The Loggers topped Carl Sandburg with a final score of 62-54. The Lady Loggers were trailing at half time 17-22. During this nail-biting second half, the Loggers outscored Carl Sandburg 45-32. To prove the game was tough, the fouls equaled out to 50 between both teams.
Coach Gary Albert said, "The Loggers played with a 'never give up' attitude and we're able to pull it out." Jessica Armour led the team with 11 points and 3 rebounds and Haley Lockhart added 9 points with 7 rebounds. The Loggers will face Sauk Valley tomorrow at 12:00pm in Lincoln.
LLCC is now 7-1 on the season and will face Sauk Valley tomorrow at 12 noon (Lincoln College).
