Lincoln Land women defeated IVCC 65-53. The Loggers got out strong and took a 37-20 half time lead. "I thought we did a tremendous job on the offensive glass in the first half. We were able to pull down 15 before halftime," said Coach Albert. "We started the second half strong but I was a little disappointed on the way we finished the game. We didn't execute offensively the way we should have and were a little sloppy defensively."

Jessica Armour led the Loggers with 14 points and Shelby Kroeger and Bre Lewis had 11 and 10 respectively. Kroeger also pulled down 9 rebounds with Lewis and Kasi Korza adding 7 each.

The Loggers finished the game shooting 33% from the field and 61% from the free throw line.

LLCC is now 6-1 on the season.
