Women’s Basketball at Lincoln Land Community College (Springfield, IL)

The Lady Loggers were 4-3 on the season and when the wheels came off with injuries.  Today’s game against Lake Land Community College was no exception with more injuries.  Shortly after the game began, sophomore Hayley Jamerson turned her ankle on a rebound and sidelined her for the remainder of the game.   The Lady Loggers lost 73-46.  Down 11 points at half-time, the Loggers struggled to stay in the game only to finish with a 27 point deficit.   Lake Land shot 41% from the field and 70% from the charity stripe pulled away in the second half to improve their record to 8-3 while the Loggers fall to 4-9 for the year.

Emily Maulding had 14 points and Shelby Cuffle added 12 for the Loggers.
