The Loggers couldn't keep up with ICC Cougars Baseball and fell 14-6 on Friday at East Peoria. The Loggers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Swaney singled, scoring one run, and Geis doubled, scoring two runs.

McCoy doubled down the right field line, which helped ICC Cougars Baseball tie the game at three in the bottom of the second. ICC Cougars Baseball took the lead in the bottom of the third. Fulton homered to left field, scoring three runs, to give ICC Cougars Baseball the advantage, 6-3.

Clifton earned the win for ICC Cougars Baseball. The starter gave up 11 hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none. Goss took the loss for the Loggers. The Loggers could not hold onto the lead against JWCC Blazers on Friday at East Peoria and fell 7-5 despite leading by five at one point. The Loggers opened the scoring in the first after Geis homered to center field, scoring two runs. The Loggers added three more runs in the top of the second inning on two hits. Brown tripled, scoring one run, and Turner homered to right field, scoring two runs.

A home run to right field by Sohn gave JWCC Blazers the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the seventh. Lagemann earned the win for JWCC Blazers. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Stellano took the loss for the Loggers. The righty went two innings, surrendering three runs on five hits, striking out three and walking two. Winkeler stepped on the hill first for the Loggers. The starter allowed seven hits and four runs over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Wagner started the game for JWCC Blazers. The righty surrendered six hits and five runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking five.

Geis led the Loggers with two hits in five at bats. Turner and Geis each drove in two runs for the Loggers. The Loggers had a strong eye at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Barnes and Swaney led the team with two bases on balls each. The Loggers turned one double play in the game.
