Loggers Bring Home Two Wins

Turner's Big Day Propels Loggers Past Indian Hills Warriors

February 14, 2026 vs. Indian Hills Warriors

Turner drove in four runs on four hits to lead the Loggers past Indian Hills Warriors 8-5 on Saturday at Millington. Turner hit a home run to right field in the second inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the fourth inning, scoring one.

The Loggers were the first to get on the board in the first when Swaney grounded out, scoring one run. The Loggers scored three runs in the top of the second on a home run to right field by Turner.
Indian Hills Warriors tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a single by Mendez, a single by Pidlisny, and a fielder's choice by Donnelly. A single by Turner gave the Loggers the lead, 5-4, in the top of the fourth.

Indian Hills Warriors scored one run in the bottom of the fifth on a solo home run to right field by Ramos. Goss earned the win for the Loggers. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking one. Beeckmans took the loss for Indian Hills Warriors. The starting pitcher went five innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 12 hits, striking out four and walking one. Chamberlain collected the save. Lance appeared in relief for the Loggers. The Loggers tallied 16 hits in the game. Bowles, Glenn, Cox, and Marshall each collected multiple hits for the Loggers.

Geist, Mendez, Lopez, Ramos, Pidlisny, and Perri each collected one hit for Indian Hills Warriors. Donnelly, Mendez, Ramos, and Pidlisny each drove in one run for Indian Hills Warriors.
 

Loggers Surge Past South Suburban Thanks To Big Sixth Inning

February 14, 2026 vs. South Suburban

The Loggers scored five runs in the sixth inning, which helped them defeat South Suburban 8-2 on Saturday at Millington.  Swaney singled, scoring two runs, Barnesdoubled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

South Suburban got on the board in the top of the first inning after Villanuevasingled to right field, and Fitzpatrick doubled to center field, each scoring one run. The Loggers took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Glenn singled to right field, and Swaney singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Wheeler earned the win for the Loggers. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking four. Litman took the loss for South Suburban. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out five and walking none. Tamecollected the save.

The Loggers collected 12 hits in the game. Swaney provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Loggers with three runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Turner, Glenn, and Swaney each collected two hits for the Loggers. The Loggers turned one double play in the game.

Fitzpatrick and Villanueva were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for South Suburban. Ragsdale, Fitzpatrick, and Villanuevaeach collected one hit for South Suburban. South Suburban turned one double play in the game.

Loggers will travel to SWIC for their next game on Friday.
