SPRINGFIELD – Lincoln Land Community College student athletes are continuing finding success on the field and court, while making major strides in the classroom. During the Spring 2025 semester the athletic department was able to obtain a 3.47 department GPA. All six teams maintained a 3.0 or better during the spring 2025 semester.
With a combined GPA of 3.47, athletic programs have set a new benchmark, proving the institution's commitment to fostering both athletic and academic achievement. This accomplishment reflects the dedication of LLCC's student-athletes, coaching staff and efforts of the athletic retention program, student success advisors and academic support staff.
"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes' academic accomplishments this spring term," said Athletic Director Diana Couch. "Last semester, we raised the bar with the highest recorded department GPA, and this semester, this group accepted the challenge and surpassed it."
