Lincoln Land Community College Athletics is excited to announce the NJCAA All-America Team selections for women's basketball.
Selected to the NJCAA D2 1
st Team All-America Team was sophomore forward Megan Harrell. Harrell averaged 15.3 points per game for the 2024-2025 season. In addition to leading the Loggers in scoring, Harrell led the team in rebounding at 8.4 rebounds per game. On the year Megan Harrell managed to record ten double doubles.
Harrell finished the year with 585 points (17
th in the nation) and 303 total rebounds (20
th in the nation).
Teammate Sam Lindhorst was also selected to the NJCAA D2 3
rd Team All – America Team.Lindhorst averaged 13.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season. In addition to her 3.4 assists per game, Lindhorst managed a team high 3.6 steals per game. She had a season high 26 points in a game at Carl Sandburg on November 25
th.
Lindhourst finished the year with 124 steals (5
th in the nation),490 points (39
th in the nation),119 assists (48
th in the nation). Lindhorst is committed to play at NCAA Division 1 Northern Kentucky University next year.
Harrell and Lindhorst were both instrumental in the success of the Loggers over the last two seasons. The 2023-24 team won 28 games, and NJCAA Region 24 title, and finished in the elite eight at the National Championships. The 2024-25 team, to date, recorded a school record 31 wins, won the MWAC Conference championship, the NJCAA Region 24 tournament championship, and finished in 5
th at the NJCAA national championship held in Joplin, MO this past March.
