Game 1 - Andrew Hendrickson Pitched a NO HITTER!

Nolan Turner collected three hits in four at bats, as the Loggers defeated Heartland Hawks 10-0 on Monday. Turner singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
The Loggers scored seven runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Brooks Neuhoff doubled, scoring one run, Turner singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Ethan Hurst singled, scoring two runs, and Jack Ford grounded out, scoring one run. The Loggers opened the scoring in the first after Hurst singled, scoring one run.
Andrew Hendrickson earned the win for the Loggers. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out one and walking four. Trevor Rehnstrom took the loss for Heartland Hawks. The starter went three innings, allowing eight runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking two.
The Loggers amassed 10 hits in the game. Hurst drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Loggers with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Neuhoff and Turner each collected three hits for the Loggers. The Loggers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Seth Impson made the most plays with seven.

Game 2 - Big Sixth Inning Leads Heartland Hawks Past Loggers

Heartland Hawks scored 14 runs in the sixth inning, which helped them defeat Loggers 20-2 on Monday. The Loggers got on the board in the second inning after Jack Ford singled, scoring one run.
Max Hennemann grounded out, which helped Heartland Hawks tie the game at one in the top of the third. Heartland Hawks took the lead in the top of the fourth. Charlie Linderman doubled, scoring two runs, to give Heartland Hawks the leg up, 3-1.
Heartland Hawks scored 14 runs on seven hits in the top of the sixth inning. Two runs scored on another play, Brady Davidson doubled, scoring one run, Tony Konopiots singled, scoring one run, Jesse Contreras singled, scoring one run, Jake Parpet drew a walk, scoring one run, Luke Ramsey was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Hennemann drew a walk, scoring one run, Jimmy Anderson drew a walk, scoring one run, Cal Darling singled, scoring one run, Kaden Griffitts drew a walk, scoring one run, Tyler Pippen singled, scoring one run, Contreras singled, scoring one run, and Linderman drew a walk, scoring one run.
Trent Koehler stepped on the bump first for the Loggers. The righty surrendered six hits and six runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out two and walking three. Logan Barnett opened the game for Heartland Hawks. The starter gave up four hits and one run over five innings, striking out two and walking one. Ford, the Loggers's number seven hitter, led the team with two hits in two at-bats. Andrew Hendrickson and Ford each drove in one run for the Loggers.
Heartland Hawks amassed 13 hits in the game. Heartland Hawks's Contreras, the number seven hitter, led Heartland Hawks with three hits in five at bats. Davidson and Griffitts each collected multiple hits for Heartland Hawks. Heartland Hawks had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 11 walks for the game. Parpet and Hennemann led the team with three walks each. Heartland Hawks turned one double play in the game.
Loggers welcome Illinois College on Wednesday for their next game.
