#5 Lincoln Land women's basketball team concluded its northern trip to Wisconsin with a decisive 66-30 win over Blackhawk Tech. The Loggers forced 26 turnovers and out rebounded the Talons 49-28.
Lincoln Land took an 8 point, 19-11, first quarter lead . Sophomore Lillie Woodworth provided the offensive punch with 9 points.
The second quarter saw Freshman Josie Hughes knock down one of her two three point baskets to help Lincoln Land extend its lead to 33-17 at the half.
Entering the third quarter, Blackhawk Tech had their best quarter of play. The Talons outscored the Loggers 12-11 behind two made 3 point baskets and going 4/4 from the free throw line. Josie Hughes buried her second 3 of the contest to go with a two point field goal.
The fourth quarter belonged to Lincoln Land. The Loggers forced several turnovers while outscoring Blackhawk 22-1. Freshman Kylie Robinson came to life on the offensive end for the Loggers. The 5'5 point guard scored 8 points to go along with Zoey Beehn pouring in 7. The dominating fourth quarter by the Loggers led to their 12th straight win.
Lillie Woodworth had a team high 13 points and 5 rebounds. Zoey Beehn added 12 points and 7 boards. Josue Hughes and Isabella Tiburzi both scored 10. Rounding out the Logger's scoring: Kyle Robinson 8 (9 rebounds), Alexis Wade 6, Lauren Chastain 4, Hunter Mowrey 2, Ella Demler 1.
