The #9 ranked Loggers faced of against the undefeated Lake County Lancers and came away victorious.  Lincoln Land started out hot and held a 25-10 first quarter lead.  Lincoln Land cooled off and only managed to increase the lead by two point going into half. The Loggers were up 42-25 at the break.  The second half saw a back and forth contest as Lincoln Land slowly pulled away only for Lake County to come back.  Lincoln Land took an 18 point lead into the fourth quarter. 

Things got interesting for the Loggers as the zone of Lake County flustered the Loggers.  "We had fifteen turnovers in the game, but ten came in the fourth quarter" stated Logger Coach Chad Jones.  Lincoln Land looked dismayed and had several unforced turn overs that led to easy baskets for Lake County.  Lincoln Land managed to hold on to the win, but Lake County got the score within five with under two minutes to go.  "We didn't finish well tonight.  We need to learn from this" said Jones.

Lincoln Land was led in scoring by Zoey Beehn with 20. Lillie Woodworth scored 18, including going 5-8 from the 3pt line.  Kylie Robinson managed to score 10.  Zoey Beehn led the Loggers with 6 rebounds, while Lauren Chastain pulled down five.  Lincoln Land improves to 5-0 on the season and will play at home on Saturday in the second day of the Logger Classic against Olney Central College.
