Kinkelaar and Brockett Named to Region 24 All-Region Team

The Loggers volleyball program is proud to announce that Ella Kinkelaar (Sophomore, Setter/Opposite) and Gracie Brockett (Freshman, Middle Blocker) have been named to the Region 24 All-Region Team for their outstanding performances during the 2024 season.

Ella Kinkelaar – Setter/Opposite
Kinkelaar made a major impact throughout the year, serving as a key playmaker for the Loggers' offense. During conference play, she appeared in 20 sets and recorded 169 assists, ranking 16th in the conference. Over the course of the season, she played in 124 sets and averaged 8.45 assists per set, the second-highest mark in the conference and third in the nation with 8.65 assists per set.
Her impressive consistency earned her a total of 1,073 assists for the year — the third-highest total in the nation. Kinkelaar also contributed 59 service aces (11th nationally), showcasing her versatility and impact from the service line.
In addition to her setting excellence, she recorded 64 digs (3.20 per set)16 kills, and 6 total blocks (4 solo, 2 assists) during conference play. For the season, she finished with 360 digs (30th nationally)178 kills (56th nationally), and 35 total blocks (15 solo, 20 assists).

Gracie Brockett – Middle Blocker
In her first season with the Loggers, freshman Gracie Brockett made an immediate impression as a dominant presence at the net. Competing in six conference matches and 38 total matches, she totaled 19 blocks in conference play — 15 block assists and 4 solo blocks — averaging 0.90 blocks per set.
Across the full season, Brockett ranked among the nation's best in several categories, recording 99 total blocks (14th nationally)48 solo blocks (8th nationally), and 51 block assists (20th nationally). Offensively, she was just as impressive, totaling 47 kills (2.24 per set) and 64.5 total points in conference action.
For the season, Brockett finished with 297 kills (18th nationally)413.5 total points (11th nationally), and 745 total attacks (26th nationally). She also added 103 digs defensively, underscoring her all-around impact on the court.

A Season to Remember
Both Kinkelaar and Brockett played vital roles in the Loggers' success this season, bringing energy, leadership, and elite-level performance to the program. Their selections to the Region 24 All-Region Team are a testament to their dedication and excellence throughout the year.
